Analysis

LiDAR point clouds and multispectral imagery contain vast information, and we have the expertise and tools to unlock this. We use several methods depending on the application, such as state-of-the-art deep learning methods to detect objects in imagery.

Mapping

Field specializes in all types of mapping — including mapping using photogrammetric methods with images taken from airborne cameras and mapping based on laser data collected with air or ground-based laser. We offer value from beginning to end: from planning and executing data capture to processing georeferenced products such as vertical images, mapping/updating, terrain models, … Continued

Point clouds

A point cloud is a digital 3D representation of a physical object or space made of millions of individual measurement points. It can be used for many purposes including monitoring and analyzing roads, power lines and forestry.

Terrain models

An accurate and reliable terrain model is valuable when designing new infrastructure, including roads, railways, and powerlines, and can be used to calculate mass transfers and costs associated with this between the builder and the contractor.

Digital twins & 3D models

Field can develop and deliver a comprehensive digital twin solution using a range of ultramodern sensors, including unmanned drones with laser and image capture, airborne lidar and image sensors, mobile mapping sensors, 360-degree street views, terrestrial laser scanning, and indoor laser scanning.

Mapspace

Mapspace is a geospatial web portal that allows the user to use orthophotos, oblique images, street views and point clouds for mapping and analysis. It is divided into several modules — supporting different types of data: ortho, oblique, 360 panoramas and 3D point cloud. Mapspace also provides several advanced applications and functionalities across the different … Continued

TerraPos

TerraPos is Field’s in-house developed post-processing software for positioning kinematic platforms. The software integrates satellite positioning and inertial sensors for a full six degrees of freedom solution. It uses Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technology to provide true autonomy: anywhere, anytime — without worrying about base stations or reference networks. It’s ideal for marine or airborne applications.

Precise leveling

Leveling determines the height of one level relative to another — critical when laying out or measuring buildings, other built assets and landscapes.

Ground penetrating radar

Ground penetrating radar is a non-destructive geophysical method for mapping subsurface structures, acquiring data at traffic speeds up to 70km/h. With our high-resolution radar antennas, we can map essential infrastructure such as roads, bridges and airports in 3D.

Ultrasonic scanning

Concrete is a core material used in many infrastructure projects, such as buildings, bridges and tunnels. Assessing its condition is crucial to ensure quality and safety throughout the life of an asset.
