Mobile mapping & geophysics

Mobile mapping & geophysics

Mobile mapping is a method for efficient acquisition of geospatial data, widely used in surveying, infrastructure management, and engineering workflows. By integrating laser scanning, positioning systems, and imaging technologies on mobile platforms, it enables systematic collection of dense, spatially accurate datasets over large areas. Modern laser scanners mounted on vehicles are capable of acquiring millions of points per second. The resulting high-density point cloud provides a detailed representation of the surrounding environment, supporting precise measurement and analysis.

Field offers advanced Mobile Mapping and Analysis services across the Nordics and in northern Europe.

Land surveying

Land surveying plays a critical role in the planning and execution phase for most infrastructure and construction projects worldwide. Land surveying ensures the accuracy between digital models and the physical world. The land surveying technique determines the accurate geographical three-dimensional position of points and the distances and angles between them. Our team has extensive experience delivering land surveying services for governments, businesses, and private individuals, predominantly throughout Norway but also in Sweden and Finland.
